The service manager was very courteous and explained everything~ He was extremely thorough and researched 2 repair issues and an discovered both of these issues are covered under my extended warranty for only $100 deductible~

I purchased wet okole seat covers from Myles Shirai in Oct, 2020. I completed the wet okole form and paid cash over $600. Myles took pictures of the interior of my car (required by Wet Okole) and toId me it would take approximately 2 months. I did not receive a receipt and did not realize this until 2 months later when I called to inquire about the status of my custom seat covers. Mel Barroza the parts manager told me they did not have record of the purchase in October only the 2 previous Wet okole purchases I made through Kona Mazda. They have told me they made an internal investigation and nothing more they can do for me, a repeat customer. I have been a nurse in this community for the past 30 years and have never been treated so poorly by a Kona Business. When asked to speak to the salesperson Mel had no comment. Why on earth would I make this up. I have now filed a BBB complaint. I was hoping Kona Mazda was going to do the right thing by their customer, sadly no.
Randle was very kind, caring, knowledgeable and answered all of our questions very throughly. Randle was very professional organized and prepared. Randle’s kind nature and the light that we saw in him made us feel very welcomed to the family at Big Island Motors. Overall Randle and Mr. Aoki did a very Fantastic Job! Awesome!!!
Great experience at Big Island Motors. Would recommend purchasing a new vehicle from this dealership if you're on the Big Island of Hawaii. Very easy to work with and was able to get us to the vehicle cost we were looking for. Jeff and Hank were both excellent to work with.
I have been dealing with a lot of challenges and needed a reliable vehicle. After researching and visited multiple dealerships, i came across this one. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. They made things happen for me as i hold 2 full time jobs and don't really have much time to shop around much. I am VERY SATISFIED with the outcome of this process and will recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle.

Yasue was an amazing salesman from the beginning to the end of sale. He help me get the right car for the right price for me and my family. The day after I bought my car I started to smell this unbearable Stench So Immediately I call yasue to tell him about the stench. he asked me to bring in the car so he can have it checked Out. Mean while he set me up with a loner just like my car I just bought .well low and behold their was a rat that died in the AC motor Which caused the stench. The service department was able to clear it out as well a remove the stench from my car and now I have my car back and I'm loving it.once again thank you yasue for you excellence customer service. .

They may be great at selling cars (mainly because the cars have great reputation-Subaru) but when it comes to service, watch out! They tell you one thing and don't follow through. I have bought two Subaru from them, one Kona and one Hilo and would never buy another from them! Did not know they were so bad at servicing the products they sell. Put too much oil in the outback at one service visit, oil everywhere! Didn't close the hood completely at another, almost blew open! Then they are rude and take no responsibility
Over all experience was great. Saw the Tuscan and loved the look and with Ryan Tanimotos help we knew it was for our little Ohana...
The sales person was very helpful and professional and provided excellent customer service. The sales person explained the features and benefits of the Hyundai Sonata gave a good lease price explanation.

For me getting a new car ranks right up there with root canal: it has to be done so let's just get it over with. Big Island Motors was a refreshing change. Having leased two Hyundai vehicles on the mainland I knew the car and what I wanted. I also knew what my lease payments should be with how much money up front. The people at Big Island Motors were knowledgeable without being pushy. Most importantly they didn't try to play games with the pricing, unlike another local dealer for a different make. They offered some additional options but didn't push them. I highly recommend Big Island Motors.

My family and I are so grateful and blessed about with our new vehicalwe have purchased three vehicles and Johnathan has been our sales person and came through for us all three times and each time it was a better and newer car all the way to this brand new sonata and has performed excellent customer service but what is most impressive to us was he served us with respect cause were local family with low income and has meet our vehicle needs as well as our financial budget. mahalo to the whole team thst made it possible. What they did was beyond service. They were excellent w/ overall performance. Including the service center. I must commend them, too They also leave no questions unanswered. So, both dealership service w/ my new Genesis and Maintenance service w/ my other two (2) Genesis (2012 & 2014) My hat off w/ applaud. I'm totally happy! (^!^)

They are more than happy to sell you a car. What you don't realize is that you are in for a frustrating, angry and dodgy service center. They are never on time. Do lousy work. Good luck dealing with the rude and racist service manager Cheri. What people also need to know is that Servco is a monopoly in Hawaii. They sell Mazda,Hyundai,Subaru and Toyota vehicles. If you run into a serious problem with them your screwed! Buy a car from the mainland and ship it here.
